Welcome to my blog

Hello, and welcome to the inaugural post of my new blog. I am so glad you have found my little corner of internet heaven, and I hope you will enjoy the exciting things I have planned for my little soapbox.

I am 34 years old (had to think about that for a second. After 20, I stopped paying attention) in my 9th year of wedded bliss, and have 2 children, a darling 7 year old son, and a darling (when she's sleeping) almost 14 year old daughter. I own my own business, so I am considered a WAHM, but that title just seems silly to me. If you are a mom, then you are always working. There is always laundry waiting to be washed, dishes piled up in the sink, bills to pay, a child to drive here there and yonder, meals to prepare, homework to help with, animals to take care of, fights to referee, broken hearts to mend, and on and on... So in my opinion, if you are a mom, then you are a WAHM.

My plans for this blog are simple. I need a place to talk about my day to day experiences on this fantastic journey I call life. But, my ramblings need to have a purpose, otherwise, who would want to listen? So, I plan to give back to you, my wonderful readers, by posting family favorite recipes (let's face it, we always need to shake it up a bit on the kitchen), helping you find answers to life's little questions, posting tips to help with everyday tasks, and so muc more. So, please come back as often as you wish, and let me know how things are going in your world.
